My entire world came to halt - my thoughts, my mind, my eyes, everything. ‘Leave the papers I asked for on the table.’ I ordered without looking at the person who entered. Ah, must be that puny workboy that I asked to bring the report papers. It was a little different to not look at my arch enemy’s lair, which probably was one of the few good things about this office. I looked at outdoors through the large window. Maybe because of a connecting door leading straight to a certain someone whom you lo. And though it was as spacious and airy, I much preferred the one I had in London.
The office here was a spare room that I had taken as my workplace. Unfortunately, I couldn't go farther than my temporary office here in the opera. I walked away to take myself as far from this harpy-infused screeching environment as humanly possible.
I would wish to not comment on that inner mind statement.įinally, after an eternity later, the voices subsided and the screeching stopped and cheers and applause filled the opera. You haven't been able to avoid her even after travelling all the way across the sea to France and I doubt you'd ever be able to. Especially when I'm dealing with business. I tried to stop my thought process at the four lettered word starting with ‘L’ as it reminded me of a certain someone that I wished to avoid at all costs. That I was not totally love struck or heartbroken like they made it seem on the stage. I reminded myself yet again that I could not relate to their feelings or whatever else they were saying. I ignored their screaming and listened to their words this time. Why can't the French people have interest in something like a silent show or a dumb act? It would have been much less painful to watch. The screeching of the lovestruck heartbroken women continued, much to my misery.
